Terms of use
Effective November 1, 2026 · Last updated November 1, 2026
The short version
- Qora is early, preview software that runs on your own computer, provided as-is.
- It organises your records. It is not medical advice and does not replace a clinician.
- Your data stays with you, so keeping it safe and backed up is up to you.
- When you connect a service like Oura, its own terms also apply.
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and M Consultancy, LLC, doing business as The Collaborative ("Qora", "we", "us"). By using the Qora software or this website, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Qora.
2. What Qora is
Qora is software that you run on your own computer to collect, check and organise your own health records and device data, view trends in them, and print summaries. Qora is at a preview / prototype stage: features may change, break or be removed without notice.
Qora has no server. We do not host, receive or process your data. See the privacy policy.
3. Not medical advice
Qora is for information and organisation only. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it does not prescribe. Trends, flags, suggested questions and summaries it shows are prompts for a conversation with a qualified clinician, not conclusions. Using Qora does not create a doctor–patient relationship with anyone.
Do not delay seeking medical care, or disregard medical advice, because of anything Qora shows. If you think you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
Qora can make mistakes, including when reading documents, photos or device data. Check important values against the original source, which Qora cites for that purpose.
4. Your responsibilities
- Your data and your computer. Your data is stored only on your computer. You are responsible for keeping it secure and backed up. We cannot recover it.
- Other people's data. Only add records or connect accounts for another person (for example, a family member) if you have the right to, and their permission where required.
- Connected services. When you connect a service such as Oura, you must follow that service's terms, including any limits on how its data may be used. Those services are not run by us.
- AI assistants. If you use an AI assistant with Qora, you do so under your own account and that provider's terms.
- Lawful use. Don't use Qora to break the law or to harm, track or monitor anyone without their consent.
5. Licence
While Qora is in preview, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Qora software for your own and your household's non-commercial use. The Qora name and logo are ours. Third-party components included in Qora (such as 3D body and anatomy models) are used under their own licences, which are credited in the software.
6. No warranty
Qora is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Qora and its makers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, health outcome, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, Qora. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Qora in the twelve months before the claim (which, during the free preview, is zero). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
8. Changes and ending use
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date above and post the new version here. You can stop using Qora at any time by deleting the software and, if you wish, your data home. We may stop offering Qora or this website at any time.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live gives you rights that can't be waived.
